What about what now?
This is what happened (or actually what is happening) after my previous blog. I loved writing down everything I could remember and that's actually the only reason why this blog was born.
My previous blog was started for my schoolwork when I was training to become festival assistant and I didn't have the heart to delete it, so it also became my blog for later schoolwork about learning travelling. It also has some more personal posts about places and my work as bartender.
And as the name says, it's time to put my leather jacket blog behind (I still wear leather jackets tought) and turn a new leaf; changes are that from now on I'm writing in English and this blog is much more personal, more me and less school or work (even tought work is life and I won't stop learning until I die...).
So before you bore to death; hello new readers and (short of) welcome back older ones. My name is Hanna and I will be your future guide. To keep my mind steady I have my cat Kingi and sudokus ready for what's going to happen.

Outdoortime | Aulanko (käärmekalliot) & Häme Castle
So earlier in May I went outdoors with a friend to hang out and take some photos. We desided to go to the most common places; Aulano and the Castle. Altought visit to the Castle wasn't really planned, we had some extra time so we wanted to have a walk there and take some evidence. I have done some homework about my camera and it's maybe visible to the others eyes too, but it's a small step.
Honestly I picked my favorite ones out from them, althought they were all kinda awesome.

First time out with the camera | Nikon D3400
As promised, I deliver! These are the very first photos I took with my new found love Nikon, a handy basic camera. Photos were taken on the last week of February, so you can feel the Spring sneaking by sunlight, yet cold to have some snow around. I love finnish nature, it looks amazing and I wanted my first photos to be about it. I'm taking baby steps with the camera, so hopefully one day you can see me evolve.
Long time no seen | Changes
It's been a while. Seriously not that many things have changed so far, so I have been suffering from a writers block. Turns out the thing that gave me happiness when I have felt lonely isn't my escape plan numer one anymore, and I'm both sad and happy about it; I don't feel as isolated anymore, which is a good thing. But I still have the hunger for writing, having my fingers dance on the keyboard and sharing my emotions.
Anyway.
I'm still working as a bartender. And educating myself to be better about it too, althought my school is already almost over. But it's those kind of jobs where you can always be a lot better, so I'm happy I started this carreer. Never felt better, to be honest; it's hard and exhausting sometimes, but also so rewarding. Also I am learning a lot more about many common things; it's not just selling. I can see things so many different ways. One point I wrote that when you are a guide, you learn to see the world throught thousands of eyes. I think it applies to bartending as well, and the people you meet are totally amazing!
So, other thing. School. It has given me another pespectives to the work, I have learned to be faster, I remember drinks and I know much more techniques than before. I have so much more basic inforation now, and it has given me the oppoturnity to be more involved in barstuff such as theme parties, private parties, bands and so on. Also I have learned to stand my ground a little bit; nowdays I don't do things like a machine, but I can put more of my heart and feelings into it. And most importantly, I have learned to give reasons why I do things my way, which helps my co-workers understand me better. So I have a lot more in my pockets than what I started with. It's still a rocky road, but now I have more tools to use to climb it with. And I have an awesome dreamteam at work with!
I still have the passion to go back to Lapland and be a guide, but it has evolved into something I want to do when I am older. Just like I still dream of becoming a writer and involving myself with much more literature. I have actually been reading more, I had few years when I simply didn't have time to read. But now I am much more better at organizing my time.
I stopped smoking. Or technically I still vape, but I have so much less nicotine in my liquids than in a real deal, so it's a little bit healthier (I'm waiting for the summertime to really see how much better I can breathe!).
Also I want to start sharing my photos. It's a kind of new passion to me, I bought my very own camera on my vacation in German in February, and I have been using it from time to time. So I will be evolving this blog to mainly photography, I'm trying to see if a photo can reall tell thousand stories, from a writers point of view.
So that's what's happening. See you soon I guess!
