What about what now?

This is what happened (or actually what is happening) after my previous blog. I loved writing down everything I could remember and that's actually the only reason why this blog was born.

My previous blog was started for my schoolwork when I was training to become festival assistant and I didn't have the heart to delete it, so it also became my blog for later schoolwork about learning travelling. It also has some more personal posts about places and my work as bartender.

And as the name says, it's time to put my leather jacket blog behind (I still wear leather jackets tought) and turn a new leaf; changes are that from now on I'm writing in English and this blog is much more personal, more me and less school or work (even tought work is life and I won't stop learning until I die...).

So before you bore to death; hello new readers and (short of) welcome back older ones. My name is Hanna and I will be your future guide. To keep my mind steady I have my cat Kingi and sudokus ready for what's going to happen.

Trendy gaming | Pokémon GO

I got inspired to write about this subject, while I was standing half an hour close to a Pokestop near my home. It's pretty busy part of a street and to tell the truth, I felt a little ridiculous hanging there.

Let's face it; I think it was not hard to guess what I was doing for everyone passing by. I mean almost everyone has played it or at least heard of it. But then again, why did I feel so ashamed about it? I mean, what makes it so different from Candycrush or Floppybird or any other game that has been on the surface?

Nowdays we spent a lot of time with technology. I admit; my phone is pretty important since all the files and pictures and every single data on it. But I lived time when you didn't need any of it. You had to go around town just to meet up with friends. Tricky part? You didn't know exactly where thay were. Maybe at home or at a park close by...

Also, not everyone knew how to use computers. Kids these days lear to use tablets and smartphones at the same age I still was picking my nose and thinking that it was amazing to be able to ride a bike with trainingwheels on it.

But we have had trandy games to play throught history even before iPods and smartwatches. It's true, the spirit of it has stayed, even tought the name of the game changed.

My mother told me when I collected stickers, that she used to collect these small pictures (usually about angels or kids, flowers and everything nice) which you could stick on a letter, for example. They are like the anchesters of modern stickers. So what makes that a game? Try to collect them ALL.

Also at my time we played outdoor games like ten sticks on a plank, but you had to have a group to play with. We had spinning tops called Bayblade and we played with Gogo's, we collected Pokémon cards and plastik or stuffed toys. We had to use imagination to play, until we got Nintendo or Sonys Playstation, which made everything come alive behind a screen. Still, I find those old fashioned (oh god, they are old nowdays) games and toys adoring and nostalogic.

So, back to the time we are living. Pokémon Go.

Good thing about this game is that you have to move. You have to lift your butt up and move the muscles. Many I know have lost overweight, got more sun this summer so tanner skintone. Those people, who normally stay home 24/7. And to top it all, antisocial people have found Pokestops to chat with others or simple passerbys sharing few words. Face to face, can you imagine!

So it makes you more outgoing. It make you more willing to speak, it makes you more what is desired by society. It's a little sad that it happens by people facing their phones more, but it's still progress.

What makes the game amazing, they update it constantly. They make it better day by day, make more in the game. So it's a living progress. I have also learned more so to say important places, since the Pokestops and Gyms are historical or kultural places or buildings or statues. Or landmarks! So little by little, you get to know more. Okay, some of them don't make sense, but like said, it's a living progress.

And what do the people do, who don't care about Pokémon Go?

Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook...

Just saying!
